The Camunda services GmbH – hereinafter called Camunda – will conduct services as described in the current description of the seminars.
2. Seminar Documents
Camunda reserves all rights on seminar documents, such as handouts, exercises or case studies, provided during the course of a seminar. Any further usage of the materials is not allowed without prior written consent of Camunda.
3. Registration and Confirmation
The registration must be in written form. It is possible to register online at www.camunda.com. Camunda confirms the registration via email. Having received the confirmation, participation is mandatory. Registrations will be considered in order of their entry until the maximum number of participants is reached. The maximum number of participants varies between 8 to 15 people according to the description of the seminar.
4. Rescission by the Participant
If notification of cancellation is received no later than 25 days prior to the commencement of a seminar, no participation fees will be billed, this is also the case if a substitute attendee is sent by the same company. If a cancellation is received by Camunda 20 to 6 days prior to the commencement of a seminar, 50% of the fees will be billed. If notification of cancellation is received less than 6 days before a seminar or if registered participants do not turn up for the seminar, 80% of the participation fee will be due as reimbursement of expenses. In case of a flat-rate claim of compensations, saved expenses and generally possible other uses of seminar fees will not be considered additionally.
5. Cancellation by Camunda
Camunda reserves the right to cancel a seminar with less than 4 participants and change the date of a seminar if necessary. In case of cancellation because of force majeure, illness of the trainer or other circumstances Camunda cannot be held responsible for, the participant has no right to participate in the seminar. Camunda is, however, obligated to reschedule the seminar. In the event of rescheduling by Camunda, the contract partner can withdraw from the contract if no new date can be agreed upon. In this case, Camunda cannot charge any cancellation fees. Camunda cannot be charged for the compensation of travel or overnight expenses or any other secondary damages. If a seminar is cancelled by Camunda , the participants will be informed 21 days before the set date at the latest.
6. Payment Terms
The seminar fees will be due for payment with no deductions made at the beginning of each seminar part.
7. Seminar Fees
The seminar fees are exclusive of VAT (19%). The seminar fees include the costs of the premises, all seminar materials, lunch with one drink and hot and cold beverages during the breaks.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee
Participants of our open seminars who are not satisfied with it will get their money back.
9. Certificate and Attendance Attestation
Prior to or during the seminar the participants will be asked to fill in an online-form with their personal information for certificates. Receiving the complete information, Camunda will provide the participant with a certificate accordingly. If the participant requires a certificate later or a new one, Camunda will charge an administrative fee of 10,- € excluding VAT.
10. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
German law alone shall apply to the legal relation of the contract parties. In case of litigation of or in connection with the contract, the place of jurisdiction is the City of Berlin. If individual provisions of this agreement should be null and void or invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The parties to the agreement shall then be required to replace the invalid or otherwise void provision with one the economic and legal effect of which comes as close as possible to it. The same applies for any loopholes the contract may contain.
