Our Journey to the Digital World of Insurance
Thursday, September 20, 2:20 pm
Presented by Uwe Koch
Talanx is Germany's third largest insurance group that is active in more than 150 countries. From the beginning of introducing a service oriented architecture in heterogeneous it-systems to the first step into a microservice world you will get an impression of our digital efforts to automate processes. You will learn why we think that BPMN/DMN is a key feature of the business IT alignment as well as how Talanx uses the Camunda engine in different scenarios.
Uwe Koch has been working for almost 20 years with technical middleware frameworks, service architectures and infrastrucure systems as well as the associated design, development and production processes. As a project manager, he led numerous company-wide infrastructure and middleware migrations in a data center for savings banks and was responsible for the coordination of introducing new software releases for the business devision. For 5 years now he has been working as an IT enterprise architect at Talanx Systeme AG - main focus process automation. He completed the next migration with the launch of Camunda's process engine in the Talanx group, starting with property and private insurances. Actually he supports the automation of processes in the industrial, life and claims divisions.
