About the role

Using state-of-the-art technology, the IT division at Camunda manages and runs reliable remote workplace infrastructure and helps build our global network, with a proactive approach to security and innovation. We are part of Camunda’s Finance department and support and advise all Camunda teams on technology and how it can help them perform better. Now Camunda is looking for a talented, organized, security and service-minded senior manager to lead its IT department. 

Reporting line: The role reports to the CFO who is responsible for the Accounting & Controlling, FP&A, Legal & Compliance and Procurement teams. 

IT Team:  Senior Systems Engineer x2, Systems Engineer x2, Associate Systems Engineer x1

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, mentor, develop, motivate, and manage our global IT Engineers team. Live and encourage Camunda's FAITH values.Together with the team strive and build a harmonized tool landscape focusing on integration and automation of workflows
  • Look at technology from a creative perspective and build innovative, people-centric enterprise solutions that deliver seamless experiences (plan how IT should adapt to the growth of the company)
  • Together with the Procurement Team, manage our SaaS (for IT, Marketing & Finance) and their lifecycle.
  • Translate department and company goals into OKRs, projects, goals and action plans, and ensure their achievement.
  • Make decisions based on Proof of Concept outcome and in line with department strategy for critical projects that affect multiple departments.
  • Work closely with the Information Security department. Help with the implementation of different security controls and the enforcement of our security policies to keep an up-to-date and secure IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure documentation and maintenance of all IT processes, and infrastructure components and its adherence.

What you bring:

  • Profound IT technical knowledge on deployment, administration, and maintenance of IT systems in a high-growth technology company, knowing how to solve complex issues and provide technical leadership to the organization. 
  • Deep technical knowledge to design, and execute products, tools and services to help deliver seamless experiences, in consideration of IT Security and based on industry best practices for IT Processes & Operations (i.e. ITIL, CoBIT)
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale, cross-functional tool landscape design and integration from beginning to end (suite tool roll out, decommissioning, pitfalls etc) and high-level knowledge of common enabling methodologies (i.e. REST API, automation software, etc).
  • Process and workflow optimization utilizing process documentation and mapping (e.g. BPMN)
  • Experience in technical requirement definition and managing developers against deliverables
  • An ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects, applying working in iterations in day to day activities (many small steps, rather than few big steps).
  • Passion for great software products and willingness to use/try our product yourself.

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence. 

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows: 

  • United States: $149300 to $224000
  • Germany: €99300 to €149000
  • United Kingdom: £96800 to £145200
  • Singapore: S$185500 to S$278200

If you are outside one of these countries, you would be employed by our Preferred Employer Organization (PEO), Remote.
