We’re excited to announce the release of Camunda Optimize 3.9.0-alpha1.
Camunda Optimize provides business activity monitoring for workflows, supporting continuous process improvement by providing transparency into your automated workflows and decisions. Business-friendly reports, dashboards, and alerts make it possible to identify process bottlenecks, improve end-to-end processes, and evaluate the success of your process automation initiative.
If you’re a user of Camunda 7 – Enterprise Edition, you can download the Camunda Optimize 3.9.0-alpha1 release right away with your customer credentials.

What’s New?
This alpha release comes with two improvements targeted toward new users as well as some bug fixes.
Sample incident data
We upgraded the sample data that came pre-installed with Camunda Optimize 3.8. Now, you can visualize incident-related KPIs and see how Optimize lets you pinpoint technical errors on a heatmap. This can help you identify which errors to fix first.
For example, the image below shows that we want to increase our incident-free rate from 90.51% to 95% (1), and we can achieve this goal by fixing the root cause of the incidents in the Get credit score task (2). This should be done in the next development cycle, as we’re already well above the Incident MTTR of eight hours, and incident resolution time has recently spiked (3).
Optimize Helm Charts
For users of Camunda 8 – Self-Managed – Enterprise, you can get started with Optimize faster than before now that it’s included in our Helm Charts.
What’s Next?
You should be able to smoothly update from Camunda Optimize 3.8 to Optimize 3.9. In addition, we’ll publish a dedicated update guide along with the minor release.
