The Camunda name comes from the Latin verbs “capere” (“to capture”) and “munda” (“clean”): capturing opportunity and doing what it takes to win and serve customers while observing ethical guardrails.
Camunda’s founders wrote Real-Life BPMN, a guide to business process notation, implementation guidance, best practices, and practical tips. It is available in English, German, and Spanish.
