Interest in ProcessOS keeps growing, along with customer expectations. ProcessOS supports a full process lifecycle – one that understands the work, automates it, and keeps improving as conditions change. Delivering on that vision at scale requires collaboration with every customer, which is where partners become essential. Partners bring deep, specialized expertise regarding a customer’s unique systems and team dynamics, combining scalable delivery capacity with the technical mastery required to transform ProcessOS from a robust platform into a flawlessly integrated, real-world solution.

What ProcessOS customers are asking for

The requests coming from ProcessOS customers have moved well past classic process modeling and one-time automation projects. Customers want to understand how their processes run today, not how a diagram from three years ago says they run. They want to reengineer and automate those processes rather than work around old limitations, and they want continuous improvement built into the system instead of a periodic review cycle. Increasingly, they also want to apply AI agents with governance that holds up as the company grows, so autonomy never comes at the expense of control.

That ambition lines up directly with what Camunda already delivers: orchestration built for complex, long-running processes, agentic orchestration that lets AI make decisions within clear boundaries, governance that satisfies compliance and audit requirements, and delivery models that work at enterprise scale. Readers who followed the discovery phase installment in this series saw a version of this shift already playing out in the field, where reconstructing a process has become the starting point for nearly every ProcessOS engagement.

The role of partners in ProcessOS delivery

Partners are a critical part of the ProcessOS delivery model. They bring customer context, industry and vertical expertise, business strategy and consulting capability, and delivery capacity — all while combining the Camunda, ProcessOS, and applied AI skills needed to re-engineer processes safely and effectively. This broader contribution is especially important when Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) join these engagements, because success depends not only on technical delivery, but also on connecting ProcessOS to the customer’s operating model, transformation priorities, and business case.

Success requires two capabilities operating in tandem: deep Camunda expertise and genuine strength in applied AI. Internally, our Forward-Deployed Engineering team embodies this exact combination, and it’s precisely what we look for as we build out our partner ecosystem.

Becoming ProcessOS-ready starts with a clear set of baseline requirements. Partners complete the applicable Partner Portal Technical Delivery or Advisory track along with available enablement, building a team with both Camunda and AI skills. Partners also notify Camunda whenever ProcessOS is part of a customer engagement, and they train alongside or shadow Camunda as a part of co-delivery readiness before running an engagement independently.

Many organizations still keep their AI talent and their process automation talent in separate practices. ProcessOS readiness asks partners to bring those two groups together around a single customer outcome instead of treating them as parallel tracks. This approach equips them to capture higher-margin engagements, moving beyond standard implementation to lead strategic advisory, architectural design, and deep process re-engineering.

Two ways to engage with Camunda on ProcessOS as a partner

Partners can work with Camunda on ProcessOS through two models:

  • Camunda-led delivery. This model fits a partner's first ProcessOS engagement. The partner joins Camunda in a shadowing and enablement role, while contributing customer and delivery context. The partner learns through defined work, feedback, and hands-on participation in ProcessOS re-engineering alongside Camunda.
  • Partner-led delivery. In this model, the partner leads the engagement and delivers re-engineering with ProcessOS directly to its customer. Camunda stays aligned through the requirements of the ProcessOS program and maintains visibility into how the process is orchestrated.

The partners best positioned to succeed with ProcessOS share three defining traits:

  • Dual Expertise & Co-Innovation: They fuse deep Camunda fluency with applied AI capabilities, alongside a readiness to train and build alongside us.
  • Actionable Pipeline & Integration: They bring active customer opportunities with a clear engagement strategy, seamlessly connecting ProcessOS to existing enterprise environments.
  • Outcome-Driven Autonomy: They obsess over customer results while steadily building the internal capacity to deliver ProcessOS engagements independently.

Build the next generation of process delivery

Enterprises are moving beyond isolated automation toward intelligent, continuously adapting process operations. Partners translate this vision into reality, uniquely combining domain expertise, customer proximity, Camunda mastery, and applied AI skills to drive The Great Process Re-Engineering.

Partners interested in ProcessOS training and joint delivery opportunities can connect with the Camunda partner team to start that conversation.
