The Source Code of the Webapps has a new home

The source code of the Camunda BPM Runtime Webapps was merged into the main repository of the Camunda BPM Runtime Platform.
If you want to contribute to the Webapps, please find the source code here.

Add Spring Boot 2.4.x Support

This alpha adds support for the latest Spring Boot version to our Spring Boot Starter and Camunda Run.
In addition to the usual dependency updates, this Spring Boot version also brings Java 15, as well as improved Docker/Buildpack support.
We encourage you to have a look at the official release notes of Spring Boot before you upgrade.

Template Repositories for Maven Archetypes

Getting a head start at setting-up a production-ready project is always nice. With our Camunda Maven Archetypes, we provide templates to create custom process applications, Cockpit plugins, and engine plugins that come with a great set of best practices that we’ve accumulated and refined over the years.

Creating a project from a Maven Archetype using your favorite IDE or the Maven Command Line Interface was not always feasible. Therefore, we now provide maintained GitHub repositories for every Archetype that we support. Every repository contains a project generated from one specific template. You can find the whole list on GitHub.

We will update those repositories with every new release of the Archetypes, providing you with a clear update path for every template. Updating your process application to the latest Camunda version can now start with a simple pull from the template repository – no need to regenerate a project from an updated template and find out how it differs from your current status.
