Get Hired, Not Ghosted

How to Job Hunt Like a Boss: Recruiters Tell All

What It’s About

You’ve sent the applications. You’ve tailored the CV. You’ve done everything right and still, silence. In 2026, the job market plays by new rules. AI is screening candidates before a human ever sees them. Remote roles attract hundreds of applicants overnight. And the advice you’ve been following? A lot of it is already out of date.

So we’re doing something different. We’re putting Camunda’s own recruiters in the hot seat and asking them to tell you exactly what’s happening on the other side of your application. What they actually look for. What kills a great candidacy. And what you can do differently, starting today.

No corporate spin. No recycled tips. Just unfiltered insight from the people reading your applications right now.

What You’ll Takeaway:

  • What recruiters actually look at in the first 30 seconds of your CV and what makes them stop scrolling
  • Why strong candidates get ghosted and the small changes that turn silence into a response
  • How AI screening has changed the hiring game in 2026 and how to work with it, not against it
  • What happens in the debrief after your interview, the conversation you’re never in the room for
  • Hot takes: follow up or don’t? One-page CV? Apply without meeting every requirement? Answered, unfiltered.

Who This Is For:

  • You’re actively applying and not getting the traction you expected
  • You keep reaching interview stage but not crossing the line
  • You’ve been out of the market a while and the process feels unfamiliar
  • You want to understand what’s really happening on the other side of the table
  • You’re curious about what a career at Camunda could look like
  • You want to job hunt smarter, not harder, in 2026

FAQ

Application Process

We suggest that you apply for the role that matches your skills and career aspirations the most. Multiple applications can cause confusion, especially if they are completely unrelated.

We follow an inclusive and equitable hiring process with a single hiring pipeline for every role. We would recommend applying as soon as you see an interesting role and not waiting, considering some of our hiring pipelines move a lot faster than others. We review every single application and come back to you as soon as the TA Partner reviews an application.

If there are no open roles that currently align with your skills and career aspirations, there are still proactive steps you can take.  Keep an eye on our career page and follow us on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn. We are growing and new opportunities open up, so staying informed ensures you don’t miss out on relevant openings.

Remote Work

Camunda is a global organization that operates remotely by design. We are able to hire in 75+ countries and have employees in more than 30 countries. As a Remote company, we do not have a general requirement for an employee to be located in a specific location, however from time to time we will have a customer-facing role that has a location-specific or language-specific or timezone-specific requirement. Additionally, all employees must be eligible to work to ensure compliance with employment regulations based on their contracts. Please find the list of available countries here.

Our remote onboarding process ensures that new employees receive comprehensive training and support from day one. You will receive a personalized onboarding plan to guide you through learning about Camunda as a company and your role. Through virtual orientation sessions, personalized onboarding plans, and ongoing mentorship, we aim to empower every employee to thrive in their role and contribute to our mission to Orchestrate Anything, Automate Everything from anywhere in the world.

Camunda’s dedication to continuous growth reflects our commitment to nurturing our employees’ potential. Our learning and development culture thrives on two core pillars: breadth and depth. We provide breadth by offering all Camundi unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning and enabling career and personal growth conversations. We foster depth through initiatives like our People Manager Development Program, coaching, and mentoring programs. By aligning employee development with core skills and company objectives, we empower our team to evolve personally and professionally in an ongoing journey of growth.

At Camunda, we recognize that employee well-being is the foundation of a thriving organization. That’s why we take a holistic approach to supporting our employees across all dimensions of well-being – physical, social, and emotional. From fitness benefits and reimbursements for ergonomic workspaces to foster physical health, to regular team events that build social connections in a remote-first world, we aim to create an environment where every employee has the opportunity to flourish. We place a special emphasis on emotional well-being, with initiatives ranging from therapy and coaching benefits, to mental health awareness programs, to a company culture encouraging healthy boundaries and flexible time off. We provide resources like workshops, meditation apps, and a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program – all with the goal of destigmatizing mental health challenges and proactively supporting each individual’s unique needs. At Camunda, we believe prioritizing employee well-being isn’t just the right thing to do – it’s a key competitive advantage to help us attract top talent, prevent burnout, and drive sustainable long-term success, together.
