Camunda Champions are loyal, helpful and collaborative community members who actively support the Camunda Community by answering questions, speaking at events, publishing content or contributing to online communities. With this program we want to give you credit for the work you’re doing and set you up for success.

There’s no single path to becoming a Champion—we recognize and value a wide range of contributions. Whether you’re writing code, giving talks, creating tutorials, or supporting others, we want to hear from you!
Here are some of the ways you can contribute and we consider key for the program:
Camunda 8 Expert – Demonstrate deep expertise in Camunda 8 through the completion of Camunda Academy Learning Paths or Certifications.
Code Contributor – Enhance Camunda projects with your coding skills through Camunda Community Hub.
Tutorial Creator – Share your knowledge through engaging YouTube videos
Marketplace Innovator – Build and maintain connectors or blueprints at Camunda’s Marketplace.
Blog Writer – Share insights via blog posts, internally or externally.
Event Speaker – Present your work and ideas at meet-ups or conferences.
Meet-up Organizer – Bring people together by hosting Camundal meet-ups.
Knowledge Sharer – Lead knowledge-sharing sessions in your organization.
Supportive Mentor – Help others in the community through the Forum.
Passionate Advocate – Spread the word and inspire others to build with Camunda.
The Champion program lasts for one year. The application for the 2025 cohort was open from October 1 – November 7, 2025. The next application period will be in October, 2026. Don’t miss the next opportunity and Sign up for Camunda Content.
The Camunda Champion Program team selects the top contributors and welcomes them into the program. If you get accepted, you will be notified via email.
Champions receive the title for one year, during which they can enjoy the benefits that are associated with the program. Existing Champions are eligible to renew their status for the following year, as long as they can demonstrate that they have made significant contributions to the community over the past 12 months. Being named Camunda Champion one year does not automatically guarantee that someone will remain in the program the following years. We reserve the right to remove a Champion before the 12-month term ends, e.g. when a person violates our Code of Conduct.
Once you fill out the application form, you’ll receive an email with further information regarding next steps. If you got accepted for the program, you will be notified via email.
