What you’ll be doing:

The accounting team at Camunda consists of four people and contributes to Camunda's success by accurately recording all business transactions and preparing financial statements and evaluations for important management decisions. As an experienced accountant you will take over the general ledger accounting for our German parent company and actively participate in the further development of our accounting processes.

In this role, your responsibilities will include: 

  • You manage the general ledger accounting s for the German legal entity and perform monthly closing tasks 
  • You prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS) and participate in the financials review
  • You prepare the Balance Sheet account reconciliations and provide commentaries for material flux
  • You prepare the VAT tax returns for the Germany legal entity
  • You work closely with the external auditors
  • You actively work on projects to optimize our internal processes

What you’ll bring along:

  • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant degree
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including German GAAP (HGB) and International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP system, MS-Office and G Suite applications
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Hands-on experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written)

Was Du tun wirst:

Unser Buchhaltungsteam bei Camunda besteht aus vier Personen und trägt zum Erfolg von Camunda bei, indem sie alle Geschäftsvorfälle genau erfassen und Abschlüsse und Auswertungen für wichtige Managemententscheidungen erstellen.   • Du führst die Hauptbuchhaltung für unsere deutsche GmbH.
  • Du erstellst die Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB und internationalen Rechnungslegungsstandards (IFRS) und begleitest die Abschlussprüfungen.
  • Du erstellst die Kontenabstimmungen und kommentiert die wesentlichen Abweichungen.
  • Du erstellst die Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Steuerberater und den Wirtschaftsprüfern zusammen.

Was Du mitbringst:

As Content Marketing Manager, you will

  • Be the directly responsible individual (DRI) for the entirety of the Camunda.com blog. You will develop & execute the content strategy to ensure the blog is an organic growth engine.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar with content contributions across a variety of channels.
  • Collaborate with the Camunda.com web team to drive continuous improvements to the user journey within the blog.

What you'll bring along:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience at a SaaS tech company, ideally serving technical personas. Similar experience in journalism will be considered, but must be knowledgeable in SEO principles.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SEO, including technical concepts - you know what a canonical link is and when it would be used
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and ability to manage dozens of contributors effectively - be structured about how to prioritize your work and time
  • Professional experience publishing content via Wordpress or similar CMS
  • Knowledge in the area of software development, enterprise software, and cloud; Ideally you love all things tech and have no problem diving into our product to get your feet wet
  • Ability to pull, analyze, and present content metrics
  • Strategic thinking - you understand what developers search for and are capable of creating a content strategy to optimize for that
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities

Rapidly expanding globally, we are looking for a Corporate Account Executive to join our international highly motivated sales team. You will enter at the perfect stage, as we have already won significant anchor customers but still have a large market share to capture. With a growing number of high quality leads, you will be set up for success and lining yourself up for continued growth.

*This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in Latin America  

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing the sales process from start to finish by driving small, mid-sized and enterprise-level prospects from first contact to closing
  • Collaborating with other teams, you will be building your own territory sales strategy by defining target customers, crafting outreach messaging and executing an outbound prospecting campaign
  • Working closely with official Camunda Partners in Latin America on increasing coverage in a growing region for us
  • Qualifying incoming leads and inquiries
  • Product presentations, online and on-site

What you'll bring along:

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B software sales environment or other complex products, open-source, complex technical product- or BPM experience being a strong plus
  • You are a self-motivated, entrepreneurially spirited individual who is willing to go the extra mile to significantly shape Camunda’s success in a new market
  • Excellent sense for business opportunities, a strong communicator and negotiator
  • Experience in working with Partners and Service Integrators in previous roles
  • Aspiration to understand your customers' need and proactively support them in achieving it

Role description:

Role description:

In this newly created role, the Director of Total Rewards will be responsible for the design, development, and execution of a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that aligns with our culture and business plans, and allows Camunda to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Review and analyze Camunda’s total rewards (compensation, benefits, equity, perks, recognition) practices globally and in relation to local markets; propose improvements to remain competitive
    • Oversee our benefits programs.
    • Maintain expertise in industry practices and lead effective, competitive, and fair total rewards programs that ensure market consistency and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop and manage Executive compensation; review, design, develop, and manage all aspects of compensation for our SLT 
  • Own the communications strategy and plan for total rewards, ensuring employees understand all that is offered at Camunda
    • Accurately interpret, counsel, communicate, and educate People Group members, managers, and executives on pay philosophy, policies, and practices
  • Develop recommendations for annual budgeting and planning while maintaining internal and external equity in pay plans; manage annual compensation review cycles
  • VSOP (virtual stock option plan) Manage equity planning and implementation of new schemes as needed; partner with Chief Financial Officer to manage the cap table
    • Lead stock administration and ensure accurate information is provided to employees about stock grants, vesting schedules, exercise process, and eligibility
  • Create scalable processes, practices, and programs that support our rapid growth while continuing to deliver an incredible employee experience
    • Oversee and support the development, implementation, and maintenance or compensation tools and systems
    • Ensure compliance with all international rules and regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of compensation and HR professionals

What you’ll bring along: 

  • 10+ years of HR experience working in a similar role. Will demonstrate a deep understanding of the current market including staying ahead of industry best practices and future trends.
  • Analytically driven, experience using qualitative and quantitative approaches to problem solving
  • Have a proven ability to drive projects from conception through to fruition.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to succinctly explain complex concepts to a wide range of audiences. 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity is common

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Product Marketing and other stakeholders to create event abstracts and landing pages for Camunda digital, on-site and hybrid events

What you’ll be doing:

Your role:

The Sales Engineer is a highly visible technical expert in the pre-sales process. Sales Engineering is responsible for demonstrating prospective customers how Camunda enables them to automate business processes and gain the agility, visibility and scale that is needed to achieve digital transformation. What you will bring along:

  • 4+ years of Customer Success, Consulting or Account Management experience, preferably within the enterprise software industry

  • Experience dealing with large multinational customers with complex technical environments and requests
  • Ability to win subscription renewals, including pricing discussions and identify expansion opportunities

Who you are:

Camunda is seeking an experienced, energetic, and entrepreneurial senior counsel to drive negotiations with customers and partners across EMEA and APAC for Camunda’s SaaS and on-premises software solutions. What you’ll be doing: 

  • Draft, negotiate and conclude SaaS and on-premises B2B software licensing agreements and other technology-related contracts (partnerships, DPA’s, and ancillary documents) with our customers, partners and suppliers in EMEA and APAC
  • Drive deal negotiations towards the close, applying solution- and business-oriented, tactical thinking while navigating internal approval workflows at both the prospect and Camunda
  • Educate customers on Camunda’s business and licensing model
  • Handle complex and extensive customer papers with diligence, accuracy, and speed in the context of quarterly sales target pressure
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and managers as well as with the legal and procurement departments of our prospects, customers, and partners
  • Understand Camunda’s products, services, and business in order to identify risks, and develop solutions, mitigation, and negotiation strategies
  • Develop and contribute to legal templates and playbooks to streamline the legal-sales collaboration, and support legal enablement of other departments (especially the Sales Team)
  • Diligently ensure compliance and independently prioritize, organize, and manage legal projects, as well as day-to-day legal matters in various fields
  • Actively monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments

What you’ll bring along: 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Likely around 3+ years of experience having likely trained at a top legal firm or tech company and more recently worked in-house for a tech start-up or scale up
  • Qualified lawyer in at least one European jurisdiction (experience in multiple jurisdictions preferred)
  • Substantive knowledge with a proven track record in complex commercial negotiations with Customers, Partners and Suppliers in the B2B software industry
  • Familiarity with GDPR, privacy and security issues arising in cross-border SaaS licensing preferred
  • Significant, direct client/customer negotiation experience
  • Deep knowledge of software-industry IP licensing issues and related agreements, including the ability to draft, explain and sell (internally and to customers) key provisions

Team Description:

Der Technical Account Manager ist eine Rolle mit viel Kundenkontakt im Post-Sales Consulting. Du begleitest unsere Enterprise Kunden von der technischen Seite - vom Moment der Lizenzbeschaffung bis zum Go-Live der jeweiligen Projekte und darüber hinaus. 

Du wirst dabei eng mit unseren Customer Success Managern und Support-Experten zusammenarbeiten, ebenso wie mit den Trainern und Consultants aus deinem Team. Gemeinsam sorgt ihr dafür, dass die strategischen Projekte unserer Kunden von Anfang an erfolgreich sind.

Camunda’s consulting team supports prospects and customers along their entire journey with Camunda BPM.

As a Technical Consultant you'll be responsible for driving our customer's enablement and product adoption by conducting hands-on training courses, supporting their projects with topic-specific workshops as well as helping them to overcome technical challenges.

*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in the US, preferred Eastern or Central Time Zone

What you’ll do:

 

  • Provide expert level engineering advice to help our customers to overcome software development challenges
  • Kick-Start customer projects in process engineering, process design, software architecture and software development.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical training material.
  • Assist customers with process engineering, process design, and process implementation.
  • Create and conduct technical workshops for development teams to ensure success in their projects
  • Perform consulting services that focus on Process Modeling, Process Automation with Camunda Platform, Software Engineering and Architecture on-site and remotely for our customers
  • Contribute to various side projects of our team based on your interest. E.g. writing Best Practice Guides, helping community users on the Camunda Forum, creating Showcase Snippets, speaking at Community Events, writing Blog Posts - and there are many more options!

Role Description:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be part of a highly motivated worldwide team devoted to providing exceptional technical support to Camunda Customers. Our Customer-centric culture and close teamwork with Engineering, Customer Success, and Product Management provide an environment built for success.

*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere in EMEA. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Respond to Customer tickets and assist in troubleshooting and resolving challenges
  • Document Customer interactions and all activity related to the issue resolution process
  • Manage your ticket flow, escalations, SLAs and workload
  • Replicate product bugs and provide pertinent information to Engineering
  • Work closely with your team members to provide exceptional support to our Customers and each other
  • Contribute to the problem resolution database and other systems focused on continuous improvement

What you’ll bring along:

  • 5 or more years of Technical Support experience
  • Outstanding communication skills including the ability to match a Customer’s communication style and de-escalate stressful situations
  • Proven troubleshooting skills
  • Java experience and expertise
  • Cloud experience and expertise 
  • Database experience and expertise
  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Passion for helping resolve Customer issues and assisting team members
  • BPM is a plus
  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product
