What the Automation Platform team does:

  • You will implement features, bug fixes, and refactorings in our Javascript codebase (web applications, API client library) with growing complexity as you develop professionally. Your contributions impact the end users of our product.
  • You will review code written by other team members. We have a quality-focused development process that you will be an essential part of.
  • As you grow, you will build expertise in the codebase and become a sparring partner for other team members.
  • If desired, you can engage with the Camunda community by publishing blog posts and presenting at community conferences and events.

What you’ll bring along: 

  • Engineering background (Computer Science preferred)
  • Good knowledge of Javascript, basic knowledge of at least one Javascript application framework and build tools (npm, grunt, yarn)

Role Description:

The Marketing team at Camunda is looking a full-stack Demand Generation marketer. As Demand Generation Manager you will own the strategy and execution of marketing programs that capture, and nurture leads across multiple channels.   • Accountable for building a marketing strategy to meet the North American lead goal numbers and drive the sales funnel for the region.

  • Monitor and report on campaign performance overall funnel conversion metrics.
  • Use Marketing automation to send emails, use landing pages and create impactful nurture programs to improve conversion rates from leads to opportunities

  • Collaborate with our Digital Marketing team on keyword research, optimization strategies, and audits of our web properties. 
  • Develop and execute plans to grow website traffic and conversions.

  • Join forces with various Content, Design and Inbound experts to ensure they support our traffic goals for SEO, social and generating inbound links.
  • Experiment with new, owned or paid channels to drive quality traffic and leads.
  • Identify levers driving sales, so that we can be predictable.

What you’ll bring along:

  • 5+ years of B2B demand generation experience in software markets, ideally with high velocity SaaS, open source, or freemium business models
  • Extensive experience in the development of creative campaigns and execution of email marketing, social advertising, content syndication, SEM, and paid digital
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing methodologies such as Inbound Marketing, ABM, CRO and Content Marketing
  • Proven, hands-on experience with a marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, or similar tools
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
  • A data-driven person with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, where change is constant and flexibility is key
  • Experience working in global company and collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders is a plus

  • Driving awareness about Camunda’s developer products within online and in-person communities that you are already connected with.
  • Actively soliciting feedback from the Camunda community and working with other members of the Developer Relations team to prioritize and communicate feedback to other departments.
  • Producing solid content (videos, blogposts, tutorials, etc.) that meets the needs of our  communities.
  • Attending local and industry events as well as company conferences and bi-annual team offsites (up to 30% travel).

What you’ll bring along:

  • 2+ years as Developer Advocate with open source communities as well as past employment as full-time dev for 2+ years (or equivalent)
  • Have a passion and proven record for enabling developers
  • Understand the business value of your work and are able to communicate it to stakeholders
  • Clear communication skills -- written as well as verbal
  • Ability to work asynchronously with teams and cross-functional groups across timezones to accomplish a singular goal
  • Executes work in an autonomous way with little assistance

It would be great if you have: 

  • Working knowledge of Java
  • Background in BPM technologies or process/workflow automation companies
  • Working knowledge of or interest in Kubernetes-related technologies

Role Objectives

As Enterprise Sales Manager you will be leading a team of Enterprise Account Executives across multiple territories and verticals. You are a proven sales leader who successfully built, grew, supported and coached your team to expand a product's reach across a large territory in both existing and new accounts.

  • Lead a team of experienced and motivated Enterprise Sales Account Executives

  • Build accountability for the effective application of the MEDDICC Sales methodology, both in practice and in its reflection in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with teams in Partner Management, Sales Development, Customer Success, Pre-Sales Engineering, Consulting, Field Enablement and Product Marketing to create and implement best practices for different verticals for your team (e.g. Financial Services)
  • Report to the VP of Sales, North America

What you’ll bring along

  • >5 years of experience leading a team of 5 or more quota carrying account executives for a software/technology product, ideally OpenSource and/or SaaS
  • Proven success with net new complex enterprise accounts
  • The ability to create relationships and credibility with both Developers and Executives
  • Success in driving pipeline through outbound prospecting strategies and greenfield territories
  • The ability to accurately and reliably forecast in Salesforce

We are looking for a creative and metrics-driven ABM Programs Manager to drive our ABM strategy and create awareness for Camunda amongst targeted Enterprise accounts globally. Working closely with Sales and RevOps, you’ll develop the strategy for selecting and engaging accounts, and run campaigns that resonate with our buyer personas. This role will be responsible for the ABM funnel, driving both inbound and outbound lead generation and nurturing. The ABM Manager is an integral function of our Demand Generation team and highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with regional marketing managers, Sales, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Events.

*This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the UKI, United States East Coast, France, Germany, or the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and own ABM adoption across Marketing and Sales teams, including account selection, outbound outreach and aircover programs
  • Develop inbound campaigns to drive awareness, acquisition and adoption of Camunda process automation products by targeted Enterprise accounts around the world to help meet regional funnel goals
  • Work closely with Sales and CSM to develop expansion programs for target customer accounts
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing, Demand Gen and Events teams to execute high-impact campaigns to penetrate top accounts
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations teams to create cadences in Salesloft to support various targeted outbound initiatives
  • Become a master of the Demand Unit Waterfall and manage reporting of the ABM funnel across our targeted accounts
  • Report on KPIs for campaigns and programs through ABM lens

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of related Demand Generation experience in the B2B tech space with 2+ years of building successful, programmatic ABM-focused campaigns
  • Digital marketing skills, including audience based targeting, intent marketing and retargeting
  • Strong reporting capabilities with the ability to track campaign and account based funnel performance and associated spend down to the most granular details while providing roll-up reporting to senior management
  • Experience with tools such as Drift, Rollworks, HubSpot, Outreach.io or similar Martech 
  • Experience working in international, remotely distributed teams and marketing across multiple geographies a plus
  • Ability to direct a small team or resources is a must
  • Bachelors or Masters degree

We are currently looking for a Head of / Senior Compliance Counsel,  who will be responsible for driving compliance matters across multiple regions (DACH / EMEA / US / UK or APAC). The Head of / Senior Compliance Counsel will bring Camunda’s internal compliance requirements and efforts into an integrated compliance program that will span areas such as data protection, IT security, contractual compliance and risk-management, export, business partner management, IP licensing (OSS), human rights, and other (regulatory) matters.

The successful candidate will be a senior resource to not only drive policy creation and adherence, but based on their expertise and judgment, she/he will serve as a trusted advisor (and potentially manager) to other members of the legal department and the business as Camunda continues to grow and to offer its products and services globally. This role will combine a significant operational and project management emphasis with strong expertise in the regional and business compliance environments in which Camunda operates. The Senior Compliance Counsel will report directly to the Director of Legal and Compliance.

What you’ll be doing

  • Define, maintain and run a compliance and enterprise risk program ensuring it is appropriately aligned to Camunda´s business model
  • Review, develop, implement and manage company-wide policies
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory & statutory requirements and governance best practice, in areas impacting Camunda’s compliance program, flagging risks as they arise and proactively providing guidance, advice, and solutions in a pragmatic and appropriate manner
  • Implement and maintain periodic internal reporting mechanisms and advise (executive) management regarding legal risk and compliance matters that are applicable to Camunda
  • Ensure day to day compliance with operational activities and serve as the subject matter expert at the company on matters covered by Camunda’s compliance program
  • Support Camunda with due diligence
  • Own and manage current and future compliance certification activities where needed;
  • Support building best in class compliance technology
  • Respond to and lead all outbound risk assessments and questionnaires involving topics such as security, data protection, and other compliance matters
  • Develop and implement company-wide training and awareness programs regarding various compliance matters that fit Camunda´s unique structure and cultures

What you’ll bring along: 

  • 5+ years experience as Head of / Senior Compliance Counsel or Manager with experience working for a start-up or scale-up in the software industry
  • Proven experience with EU, US, and UK compliance regulations and matters
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously with demonstrated ability to manage details as well as the big picture
  • Analyze complex problems, think creatively, communicate recommendations, influence change, and be able to drive process and structure into an extremely dynamic and global environment
  • Strong written/oral communication skills required along with the desire and ability to communicate with business leaders through all levels of the organization
  • A degree in law, with a relevant Master's degree

What you will bring along:

  • A bachelor’s or equivalent degree.

  • A track record of producing sales-enabling and high-converting content is required.

Your team:

As part of our Revenue Operations team you'll ensure our global Field Operations Department (including Sales, Customer Success, Partners and Consulting) has the systems, processes, analytics, and resources to achieve their fullest potential as we scale. Focusing on our CRM implementation, as a Salesforce Administrator at Camunda you'll work across departments and teams to improve our go-to-market systems.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with operations functional leads and users to gather and validate business requirements for internal or external implementation
  • Build and maintain custom objects/ fields, validation rules, layouts, reports,dashboards, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, chatter groups, lightning flows, Apex code, email templates to optimize business processes
  • Work on systems-related projects that require changes in Salesforce or related tooling
  • Implement and manage connections and integrations between Salesforce and other business systems (e.g. Hubspot, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo or Jira)

What you'll bring along:

  • You worked at least 2-3 years as a Salesforce Admin for a SaaS company with 100+ users using Lightning, ideally paired with Admin and one additional Salesforce certification (e.g. Advanced Admin, App Builder or Platform Developer I)
  • Experience at working effectively both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

In the Automation Platform team

  • We develop a BPMN process engine that executes critical business processes at our customers and community users.
  • We develop powerful web applications that provide process operators with real-time insights into the running system
  • We build libraries that make our product enjoyable for our core users: software developers. Most of the code we write is open source!
  • We have a strong focus on good API design and we value the user perspective highly. That is a key to our already seven years of success with the product.

*This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in Europe.

What you’ll be doing

  • Design and develop long-lasting APIs and features in the core process engine as well as it’s ecosystem of surrounding components (including public Java API, REST API, Spring Boot Starter)
  • Integrate the APIs into our web applications and make them accessible to end users
  • Be a technical sparring partner to other team members with the possibility to do mentoring
  • If desired, engage with the Camunda community by publishing blog posts and presenting at community conferences and events

What you’ll bring along:

  • 5+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend engineer
  • Good knowledge of Java and technologies like Spring, Spring Boot and relational databases is a must 
  • Good knowledge of Javascript and build tools (npm, grunt, yarn)
  • A pragmatic and autonomous approach to programming and problem solving
  • It would be great if you have an experience with AngularJS 1

Team / Department description:

We are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel / Volljurist,  who will have the opportunity to drive negotiations for our SaaS and on-premises software solutions with various enterprise customers and global partners covering multiple regions. The person in this role will directly impact Camunda’s rapid growth trajectory and will thus help shape the exploding automation enterprise software industry. 

The successful candidate will be a senior resource to not only partner with Sales to close deals but based on their expertise and judgment, she/he will serve as a trusted advisor to other members of the legal team and the business. The Senior Legal Counsel / Volljurist will report directly to the Head of the Legal Department.

What you’ll be doing

  • Draft, negotiate and conclude Saas and on-premises software licensing agreements and other legal contracts with our customers and partners worldwide 
  • Drive deal negotiations towards close, applying solution-oriented, tactical thinking while navigating internal approval workflows at both the prospect and Camunda
  • Understand Camunda’s products, services, and business in order to identify risks, develop solutions, mitigation, and negotiation strategies
  • Diligently ensure compliance and independently prioritize, organize, and manage legal projects, as well as day-to-day legal matters in various fields
  • Actively monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments

What you’ll bring along: 

  • 3+ years experience as a Legal Counsel with substantive experience working in the software industry, ideally for a start-up or scale-up
  • Both state exams with above-average results
  • Proven experience with international (cross-border) negotiations 
  • Ideally, experiences negotiating open-source software licensing agreements
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously with demonstrated ability to manage details as well as the big picture
  • Ability to make risk-appropriate as well as business-oriented decisions 
  • Strong written/oral communication and negotiation skills required

Role Description:

As a Solution Architect you’re a key person in our pre-sales process when it comes to convincing prospective customers about our Camunda technology. As a highly skilled tech expert you’ll be in charge of demonstrating how to integrate Camunda into existing IT architectures and enabling them in how they can gain the agility, visibility and scale that is needed to achieve digital transformation. This includes the creation of proof of concepts, custom demos as well as solution architectures – variety guaranteed.

As the typical personas you’ll be dealing with are software developers and IT architects this role is the perfect match between Technical Pre-Sales best practices, hands-on software engineering tasks and interesting discussions about innovative IT architectures.

  • Lead demos and product related Q&A sessions
  • Implement customer requirements to our Camunda product portfolio
  • Conduct proof of concepts and custom demos for prospects
  • Create and discuss solution architectures
  • Learn about new technologies and create prototypes
  • Team up with Sales Managers and the Sales Engineering teams
  • Create and maintain pre-sales content and technical artifacts

What you’ll bring along:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g. Information Systems, Business Informatics, Computer Science)
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in a software engineering role with knowledge of current software engineering technologies (preferably in Java) as well as common IT-architectures
  • 3+ years experience in an Enterprise Technical Pre-Sales role. It's easy for you to map business requirements to a technical solution an come up with a plan on how to achieve
  • You are a team player who enjoys communicating with people
  • Strong verbal and written communications in English (French or Spanish is a plus!)
  • Experience with BPM/BPMN/Orchestration/Process Automation is also a strong plus

Camundas Consulting und Training Team begleitet Kunden vom Start der Projekte bis in den Produktivbetrieb. Unsere Aktivitäten beinhalten sowohl mehrtägige standardisierte Trainings als auch individuelle Workshops und Consulting-Sessions.

Als Technical Trainer legst du den Grundstein für erfolgreiche Projekte bei unseren Kunden. Du schulst Software-Entwickler, IT-Architekten und Business Analysten zu Themen rund um Prozessmodellierung, Prozessautomatisierung mit Camunda Platform und dem Betrieb unserer Produkte.

*Es handelt sich um eine Remote-Rolle und, die von überall in der EMEA-Region ausgeübt werden kann.

Was Du tun wirst:

  • Durchführung von praxisorientierten Trainings mit den Schwerpunkten Prozessmodellierung, Prozessautomatisierung mit Camunda BPM, Software Engineering und Architektur sowohl vor Ort als auch remote für unsere Kunden
  • Kontinuierliche Verbesserung unseres Trainingsmaterials und Trainingsportfolios 
  • Teilnahme an öffentlichen Events, um die Marke Camunda und unsere Open-Source-Community aufzubauen
  • Mitarbeit an verschiedenen internen Projekten unseres Teams je nach Interesse, z.B. Schreiben von Best-Practice Guides, Beantwortung von Fragen unserer Community-User im Camunda Forum, Erstellen von Showcase-Snippets, Schreiben von Blog-Posts – und noch Vieles mehr!

Was Du mitbringen solltest:

  • Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Java-Programmierung
  • Erfahrung als Trainer zu Software- und Architekturthemen
  • Aktuelles Wissen zu neuen Technologien, Frameworks und Architektur
  • Fließende Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse
  • Erfahrung in B2B, SaaS oder Enterprise Software
  • Reisebereitschaft
