Was Du tun wirst:

Unser Buchhaltungsteam bei Camunda besteht aus vier Personen und trägt zum Erfolg von Camunda bei, indem sie alle Geschäftsvorfälle genau erfassen und Abschlüsse und Auswertungen für wichtige Managemententscheidungen erstellen. Als erfahrener Bilanzbuchhalter übernimmst du die Hauptbuchhaltung für unsere deutsche Muttergesellschaft und wirkst aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung unserer Buchhaltungsprozesse mit.

In dieser Position bist du u. a. für folgende Aufgaben zuständig: 

  • Du führst die Hauptbuchhaltung für unsere deutsche GmbH.
  • Du erstellst die Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB und internationalen Rechnungslegungsstandards (IFRS) und begleitest die Abschlussprüfungen.
  • Du erstellst die Kontenabstimmungen und kommentiert die wesentlichen Abweichungen.
  • Du erstellst die Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen.
  • Du arbeitest eng mit unserem Steuerberater und den Wirtschaftsprüfern zusammen.
  • Du arbeitest aktiv an Projekten zur Optimierung unserer internen Prozesse mit.

Was Du mitbringst:

  • Abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium oder abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter
  • 3 bis 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung, idealerweise in einem internationalen Umfeld
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Bilanzierung nach HGB und IFRS
  • Versierte Kenntnisse im Umgang mit ERP-Systemen, MS-Office und G Suite-Anwendungen
  • Selbstständige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise sowie sehr gute analytische Fähigkeiten
  • Freude an der Weiterentwicklung von Prozessen und an der Arbeit im Team
  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

About the team:

Camunda Platform 8 orchestrates complex business processes that span people, systems, and devices. The Zeebe Process Automation team develops the open source workflow engine at the heart of our platform, which orchestrates the mission-critical processes of our customers.

We have recently embarked on a new journey to create a different approach to prospecting leveraging a PLG approach (Product Led Growth) primarily going after existing customers to expand our footprint within the account by uncovering new use cases or prospecting into engaged prospect accounts.

Responsibilities 

  • Plan, create and execute account expansion strategies in our enterprise customer accounts in close collaboration with your Account Executives and Customer Success managers with the view to uncover new use cases to expand the Camunda’s revenue in those accounts.
  • Plan, create and execute outreach campaigns to identify use cases inside of our highly engaged prospect accounts. Those who have interacted with our brand and our products via our community, our community edition, our free trials but that haven’t yet moved to our enterprise platform.
  • Proactively reach out to specific personas part of the target enterprise companies via social selling, email, phone and video to identify use cases and sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the sales team on the lead qualification process, quality and quantity of identified opportunities
  • Become a Camunda value proposition expert and understand how to bridge the gap between business challenges and IT requirements
  • Meet and exceed monthly quota of sales accepted opportunities and associated Key activity Metrics

What you’ll be doing:

The accounting team at Camunda consists of four people and contributes to Camunda's success by accurately recording all business transactions and preparing financial statements and evaluations for important management decisions. As an experienced accountant you will take over the general ledger accounting for our German parent company and actively participate in the further development of our accounting processes.

In this role, your responsibilities will include: 

  • You manage the general ledger accounting s for the German legal entity and perform monthly closing tasks 
  • You prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and international accounting standards (IFRS) and participate in the financials review
  • You prepare the Balance Sheet account reconciliations and provide commentaries for material flux
  • You prepare the VAT tax returns for the Germany legal entity
  • You work closely with the external auditors
  • You actively work on projects to optimize our internal processes

What you’ll bring along:

  • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant degree
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally in an international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including German GAAP (HGB) and International Accounting Standards (IFRS)
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP system, MS-Office and G Suite applications
  • Excellent organizing abilities
  • Hands-on experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • Fluent in both English and German (spoken and written)
  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product

About the team:

Camunda's CSMs are trusted advisors to the customer, fostering successful adoption which will naturally lead to retention. Responsible for renewals, they spot opportunities for expansion and team up with sales when it comes to commercial negotiations.

The Global team has 27 members managed by our VP of Global Customer Success and is split into three theaters (AMERICAS, APAC, EMEA). EMEA consists of several regions which are grouped together in two teams, AMORE (Africa, Middle East, Other Regions Europe) and DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). We have a Director responsible for the EMEA theater and a Manager for the AMORE team.

We are looking for a Manager for the DACH team of three Intermediate Customer Success Managers and three Senior Customer Success Managers that will focus on being the team members' coach and guiding them through their daily interactions with customers and peers.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Direct people manager for a team of Customer Success Managers, responsible for career growth, performance evaluations, setting of priorities, and overall strategic guidance to help them to their best work
  • Responsible for strategic planning for the CSM function, including quarterly OKRs and annual goals as well as documentation of team responsibilities, goals and success metrics
  • Help define, shape and execute the CSM strategy for Camunda’s clients in DACH region, including but not limited to forecasting renewals and engagement on special expansions/contract migration discussions
  • Recruit and onboard as necessary new CSMs on the team
  • Analyze customer data captured by the team to maximize customer experience and spot areas for internal initiatives and improvement
  • Manage key customers vital to the team’s success while also serving as an initial escalation point for customers
  • Create and promote collaboration techniques with internal stakeholders (consulting and sales team)

What you’ll bring along:

  • Proven experience in and demonstrated passion towards Customer Success Management, ideally in scaling SaaS organizations 
  • Understanding of On Prem, Cloud SaaS and Self-Managed
  • High level of exposure within DACH region - fluency in German and English (ability to conduct business negotiations)
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring or developing fellow Customer Success team members
  • Direct people management experience not requirement but highly preferred
  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product (Open Source experience is preferred)
  • Proven experience or desire to thrive in remote-first environment

Your role:

The Sales Engineer is a highly visible technical expert in the pre-sales process. Sales Engineering is responsible for demonstrating prospective customers how Camunda enables them to automate business processes and gain the agility, visibility and scale that is needed to achieve digital transformation. The accounting team at Camunda consists of four people and contributes to Camunda's success by accurately recording all business transactions and preparing financial statements and evaluations for important management decisions. About the team:

Camunda's CSMs are trusted advisors to the customer, fostering successful adoption which will naturally lead to retention. Responsible for renewals, they spot opportunities for expansion and team up with sales when it comes to commercial negotiations.

What you will do:

  • Become the trusted advisor to a set of enterprise customers and their key stakeholders in the Americas region by aligning Camunda technology to their business strategy and goals

The infrastructure team is crucial in the Camunda Products delivery cycle. With our services, other Engineering teams can: 

  • execute over a thousand automated test pipelines a day in our CI Platform,
  • within minutes, deploy and get feedback on the new product features long before they are released using our Preview Platform,
  • deploy the new versions of the Camunda Products to our artifact storages, where they are available to thousands of Camunda customers 24/7.

As a service-oriented team, we are enabling the Engineering teams by providing them with the platform services and consulting them on the relevant technical topics.

Who you are:

Camunda is seeking an experienced, energetic, and entrepreneurial senior counsel to drive negotiations with customers and partners across EMEA and APAC for Camunda’s SaaS and on-premises software solutions. You work effectively in all directions:  upward (to your managers and the executive team); outward (to the sales, engineering, and marketing teams as well as to the company’s customers); and across the spectrum of the other members of the legal team. You collaborate well with internal stakeholders, clients and engender respect from those with whom you work. You will report directly to the Head of Legal Negotiations DACH, EMEA, APAC.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Draft, negotiate and conclude SaaS and on-premises B2B software licensing agreements and other technology-related contracts (partnerships, DPA’s, and ancillary documents) with our customers, partners and suppliers in EMEA and APAC
  • Drive deal negotiations towards the close, applying solution- and business-oriented, tactical thinking while navigating internal approval workflows at both the prospect and Camunda
  • Educate customers on Camunda’s business and licensing model
  • Handle complex and extensive customer papers with diligence, accuracy, and speed in the context of quarterly sales target pressure
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and managers as well as with the legal and procurement departments of our prospects, customers, and partners
  • Understand Camunda’s products, services, and business in order to identify risks, and develop solutions, mitigation, and negotiation strategies
  • Develop and contribute to legal templates and playbooks to streamline the legal-sales collaboration, and support legal enablement of other departments (especially the Sales Team)
  • Diligently ensure compliance and independently prioritize, organize, and manage legal projects, as well as day-to-day legal matters in various fields
  • Actively monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments

What you’ll bring along: 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience having likely trained at a top legal firm or tech company and more recently worked in-house for a tech start-up or scale up (we are looking for either a mid-level or senior professional) 
  • Qualified lawyer in at least one European jurisdiction (experience in multiple jurisdictions preferred)
  • Substantive knowledge with a proven track record in complex commercial negotiations with Customers, Partners and Suppliers in the B2B software industry
  • Familiarity with GDPR, privacy and security issues arising in cross-border SaaS licensing preferred
  • Significant, direct client/customer negotiation experience
  • Deep knowledge of software-industry IP licensing issues and related agreements, including the ability to draft, explain and sell (internally and to customers) key provisions

  • Great entrepreneurial spirit and understand business needs whilst ensuring legal necessities are adequately reflected at the same time

Partner Management:

  • Work with the recruiting team to build candidate pipelines (for critical talent needs), pre-screen and interview outstanding candidates, and convert leads into new hires.
  • Develop effective strategies and channels for sourcing candidates; including but not limited to: social recruiting tools, user groups, employee referrals, networking, web sourcing, and hosting and attending meetups and other events
  • Consistently evaluate and iterate on sourcing efforts and strategies using metrics and data analysis
  • Help the talent team build and improve key sourcing systems with scale in mind e.g., sourcing library, CRM, sourcing automation tools, and nurture campaigns
  • Provide expertise with relevant tools and programs (e.g., CRMs, labor market data, applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, referral programs, and job boards) and utilize various online and social media resources to build talent pipelines

What you’ll bring along: 

  • Proven experience with sourcing (tech) talent at all levels preferably in global, remote-first set up within the SaaS industry

  • Gemeinsam mit unseren Customer Success Managern begleitest du Kundenprojekte zum technischen Erfolg. Unter anderem entwickelst du individuelle Adoption Journeys für unsere Kunden und begleitest deren Umsetzung.

As Technical Content Marketing Manager, you will

  • Collaborate with the Camunda.com web team to drive continuous improvements to the user journey within the blog.

What you'll bring along:

  • 5+ years of digital marketing or content marketing experience serving technical personas (ideally at a SaaS company)
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SEO, including technical concepts - you know what a canonical link is (and when it would be used)
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills
  • Exceptional organization and ability to manage dozens of contributors effectively
  • Professional experience publishing content via Wordpress or similar CMS
  • Knowledge in the area of software development, enterprise software, and/or cloud; Ideally you love all things tech and have no problem diving into our product to get your feet wet
  • Strategic thinking - you understand what developers search for and are capable of creating a content strategy to optimize for that
